Recap: Andersonville Purim Carnival
We were proud to have been part of the Andersonville Purim Carnival, a joyful and vibrant celebration that brought families together for a morning full of fun, creativity, and community spirit. The day kicked off with a kid-powered retelling of the Purim story by the children of Emanuel Congregation, setting the tone for a festive and meaningful gathering.
Throughout the event, Chicago Jewish Alliance joined local organizations in hosting hands-on activities, crafts, and storytelling that made Purim come alive for kids and adults alike.
From enjoying sweet hamantaschen to making goodie bags and cooling off with shaved ice, the energy was high and the smiles were everywhere.
It was a wonderful reminder of the power of community collaboration and Jewish joy, and we were honored to celebrate Purim together in the heart of Andersonville.
