Join the CJA Member-Only Book Club for meaningful conversations around Jewish literature.

Our next meeting will take place on June 28 at 7 PM and will be facilitated by Lynn, our Membership Coordinator.

For our second book, we will be reading This Is Not About Us by Allegra Goodman, selected through the NU Reads subscription program curated by the Jewish Book Council. The novel follows two sisters whose relationship unravels after a small misunderstanding following their sister’s death. What begins as a minor conflict turns into years of silence that impacts the entire family, exploring themes of family dynamics, long-term tension, and the lasting bonds that connect generations.

Join us for a thoughtful and engaging discussion with fellow CJA members. Participants are encouraged to read the book in advance, but everyone is welcome to join the discussion. Light refreshments will be provided. The address will be emailed to registered attendees 48 hours before the event.
