Commissioned by NAVI, Hidden Agendas investigates the indoctrination of school children by extremists in California under the guise of a ‘liberated’ version of state-mandated ethnic studies curricula and the antisemitism and anti-zionism it has fueled “…a Trojan Horse for very illiberal ideas that are really oppressor-oppressed studies” (Erec Smith, Associate Professor of Rhetoric, York College).
After the 25-minute film, NAVI will host a panel with CEO & Founder David Bernstein and Director of Education Dr. Brandy Shufutinsky, EdD to discuss how this problem manifests throughout the country including local Chicago communities. We’ll also explore solutions and discuss what parents, educators, and policy makers can do to address the issues.
