A Candid Conversation with Linor Attias – United Hatzalah Director of Communications

Join us for an intimate event with Linor Attias, a courageous first responder from United Hatzalah. On October 7th, Linor left her home in Jerusalem to provide life-saving aid in the south. Amidst the chaos, she and her fellow volunteers responded to urgent calls, set up triage stations, and made critical decisions to ensure everyone received care in the face of unimaginable conditions.

The Adele and Joel Sandberg Women’s Initiative at United Hatzalah, launched in 2021, aims to double the number of female emergency responders from 1,000 to 2,000 over five years. United Hatzalah, Israel’s largest independent, non-profit emergency medical service, provides rapid, free care through a network of over 7,000 volunteers. With the help of ambucycles and GPS technology, medical assistance arrives in under 3 minutes nationwide, and in some cities, in under 90 seconds, enabling volunteers to save lives quickly and at no cost to those in need.

Linor will share her experience from those harrowing days. Her story highlights the resilience, courage, and vital role of United Hatzalah’s volunteers—especially the women who step up in times of crisis.
